For those who follow my Narnia NNSTG series on AO3, sorry for the wait ! I'm still writing the final part (technically i've been at it since last year lol, but let's say i've recently started writing it again).
I make no promises, but it should be ready before the summer. It's Peter and Susan's part, and I'm really having trouble with Peter. He's hard to write about !
In the meantime I can promise that there's a full part of the series already written about Rilian & Edmund reuniting. Does anybody care for this completely made up ship other than me ? Creating the ship tag tells me no, but it is going to be published anyway !
This is torture-
I (only !!) have two parts left to write on NNTSG's sequel but I've been rotating ideas in my head for weeks and nothing comes out. I wanted to finish it by the end of the year, but I guess motivation has deserted me (plus it's exam season in like a week so I'm clearly not going to have time)...
The good news is that the main body of NNTSG's sequel is almost finished. I've been working on it for m o n t h s and I'm so glad to finally see the end !!
The bad news is that it's way longer than expected. And still not finished, so who knows how many words I'm going to end up with ? My 10K limit is already long exceeded.
The editing and correcting is going to be hell ahahahah
... But it's coming I swear 😩✊🏻

No Need to Say Goodbye [Prologue]
The day he left was the day she fell apart.
They both knew it was coming, much like they thought they'd be ready when the day arrived.
They were wrong.
He was ripped away from her in the middle of the night. He'd been at her house that night, resting in bed with the girl of his dreams.
They thought they were okay. They were safe there.
His parents had gone around, asking if anyone knew.
Her brother had been out at the store when they came in, and showed a photo of her beloved. He'd thought nothing of it when he identified him, claiming to know of his whereabouts.
Little did he know he would lead them straight to him, into what would soon become the fall of his sister, and the loss of her only source of true happiness.
Preston was taken away that night.
And with him, he took Skye.
Not her body. But her soul.
With a promise of "I'll come back for you!" and a heart shattering sob in reply, he was gone into the night.
The young girl shook in her fathers arms, family gathered on the lawn as the car drove away.
"He'll come back, when you call him. No need to say goodbye."
