I've been documented saying that I think it's an essential Bruce Wayne personality trait for him to love his kids. I think this is so true. Love should make him silly because he has so much of it towards his brood.

But also, another thing that I think people forget is that Bruce also has to love humanity and people. Like I'm totally on board for social awkward Bruce, he can hardly look people in the eyes, but he has to absolutely adore people and be so interested in them. Like even if he's not the biggest talker, he has a favourite barista that knows his name, he gossips with Charles the bodega guy, he will ask questions about your work and listen patiently as you go into more detail than necessary.

Because like protecting Gotham is protecting her people and that's a hella lot more tolerable when you adore her people. Like I don't think that man is letting himself be punched to smithereens each night if he doesn't have love at his core.

I will never understand people who act like it’s a chore to care for their loved ones. I don’t know about you but my first priority is making sure my important people are okay, not doom scrolling on the couch.

“Driving style” this, “oversteer” that, blah blah blah. I’m sick of people insinuating that the only reason Max is the one doing well in the Red Bull is because he has a “unique driving style” that Red Bull cater to because he has a “preference for a car with a lot of oversteer.”

I have a theory that Max doesn’t have a unique driving style, not really. The real reason Max can handle a car with a lot of oversteer isn’t preference, it’s talent. My theory is that Max’s number one skill, the one that makes him the best driver on the grid at the moment, is his car control. Every driver has a certain amount of car control, but Max has such an innate feel for what’s going on with a race car that he’s practically at one with it. This means that he can handle a car with more oversteer because he can feel exactly what limits he can push the car up to before he loses control of it.

Think about it. People say Max “likes a pointy front end.” Surely, everyone would like a car like that if they could control it. A car like that is going to be the faster one, because of how it will enable the driver to maximise corner entry and exit. It’s why Alex’s mouse sensitivity analogy is the best one to understand this: any gamer play a shooter game on the highest mouse sensitivity if they could control it, because then they’d be able to move with exacting precision, maximising their damage because their reflexes and control can match the sensitivity of the mouse movement. This is Max with the car. But the average gamer would turn their sensitivity down, not because they prefer that, but because that’s the level they’re capable of controlling. Same again with the average driver. They can only handle so much oversteer before they lose control. In a very pointy-ended car, they’ll either drive too slow because they’re not confident they can handle the car, or they’ll try to attack a corner but crash out because they’re not capable of sensing in time that they’re about to lose the car.

It isn’t “preference” that makes a driving style, its capability. Max is the driver with the highest capability for car control, and that’s the reason he can handle it when Red Bull design a “fast” car, aka, a car with a lot of oversteer. Max doesn’t have a unique driving style, he has a unique amount of skill and talent. That’s all.
