i’m so tired, i just want to know if God exists and if He does, what is wanted from me, or if i’m allowed to die

but there are too many religions and beliefs and it’s exhausting

i need to read about religion & science. about prophecies that apparently came true. pray. read about all the different beliefs and their histories. try to weigh up which is right, which, if any, has enough evidence to suggest it’s true. read all the major religious texts. try to work out which translation is right. which interpretations are right.

but i can’t make myself do it. i don’t have the energy to eat, let alone any of this. and doing it all alone is so hard. and it’s very, very hard to find the motivation when i’m 99% sure there’s no God anyway.

but what if i’m wrong and i end up dying and going to hell for believing the wrong thing

I really want to know how Essek’s floating works. Like, what its mechanics are. It’s definitely not the same as Levitate, which would allow him to move up and down. But it does allow him to slowly fall down the side of a cliff. And now it’s evident that it’s not just one speed either, he can maintain it at seemingly any movement speed.

Does it have a duration? Does he have to recast it? Is it a slotted spell? Is it a spell? Has he just fucked with Dunamancy so much that it’s a weird effect on his person that he can start and stop, at will? And what about that rain barrier he had forever ago? Is it constantly there? Is it the same effect or a different one? Is it just for rain?

Can you dispell the floating and he’ll drop? Can you Detect Magic it? If not, what does that even mean? What if you cast a Dunamancy spell that would have a gravitational effect on him? Does it override the floating? Does it contest it?

I need to know these things.
