I love not paying for things <3
Don't Send Me Extra Anything
It's a pet peeve of mine when you order something and they include something extra. There were a few eBay comic book shops that did that, and the reason it pissed me off is cause I am TRYING not to get any more paper comics, not because I don't love them, I don't have the room for them. So someone thinking they're being kind and sending me extra just leaves me with ish I have to figure out where to go.
I had this young woman I used to buy body oil from until her turn over times got untenable, she sent me some kind of spray cleanser that is still sitting in my bathroom. And Meyer's Cleaners send me some hand soap that is sitting in my medicine cabinet probably drying up. It's just if I don't use it, know what it is, or why, all it does is confuse and frustrate me. I don't want to throw the things out because that seems wasteful, but then I don't usually use them which is just as wasteful.
The extra from this purchase was the Al Green, and I love Al Green as much as the next Black, but I know nothing of this album. It is pretty art work, I already have two Al Green albums a greatest hits and an album I heard played in a film so I picked it up. The second album which was actually the one I wanted was an Anita Baker album on vinyl, it was like a test pressing or something. I am just pleased to add another Anita vinyl to my collection, I can't believe the mess with her record company holding back her music, I mean it's not even streaming, so she's not even getting those little residual checks. I swear record companies are the devil! #👹
Addendum: So I go to play the Anita Baker album to find out it's a 12" single, not the full album like they listed on Discogs, I was like WTF! I have already reached out to the seller. The thing is I don't think they really know what they're doing. There's a standard package for mailing out albums that they didn't use, and they removed the album from the sleeve and used the outside protector to store the album and the paper sleeve. It was way too much packaging when there is literally a vinyl mailer they could use.
I just got a full refund, but that doesn't feel right either. I am so frustrated.
How girls get ready for a night out 🔪
Okay I won't have money for new figures I'm fired next month
I really wanted to like festivals and clubs and stuff, since it’s like live while you’re young and all that, but most experiences I’ve had, usually more than half the time Ive felt very uneasy and uncomfortable. I thought it was just specific things each time that caused it, and if I kept forcing myself out of my comfort zone I would have fun.
Reflecting on it now that none of those things were an option for so long, I can safely come to the conclusion that I just hate being around that many people for an extended period of time. Especially that demographic of people (extroverts). So I’m not actually missing out on anything because it sucks. Thanks for the memories and I will not be worrying about it anymore.
