No, Trump committed high crimes and misdemeanors including attempted obstruction of investigations, witness tampering, lying. While there is no legal definition of “obstruction” Trump and his campaign and associates were kibitzing with agents of the Kremlin. They were guilty of anticipating and accepting aid from a hostile foreign state in connection with the 2016 U.S. election, using illegally stolen information by Russian actors, promoting the dissemination of that material by encouraging people in public to search and view said stolen material where it was located (Wikileaks), and planning their campaign strategy in conjunction with the release of information stolen by Kremlin associated agents. The dishonest and corrupt Republicans who are aiding and abetting Trump in his efforts to obstruct justice and who are actively engaging in attempts to cover up Trump’s crimes and misleading and lying to the American people are also guilty by association after the fact. They should all be prosecuted for their crimes and pay the penalties.
