OKAY! To preface, I am not a lover of dead dove or unhappy endings. As such, while I have dabbled in the reading of Jujutsu Kaisen, it never left me feeling fulfilled to read like One Piece or tcf does. That being said!

I am about to recommend a fic that checks all of my boxes, has made me both cry and cackle so hard I have choked, and is actually such a delight to read as it continues to update.

Trust me. No. Actually. Trust me. You do not have to be into jjk. You do not have to understand all the characters or plot. I didn’t. I started reading just to have something to listen to (over my screen reader) while I was cooking, and this fic has changed my brain chemistry. Analysis below!!

• Toji Fushiguro centric. (No, actually. Trust me. Hear me out here.)

• It’s an isekai. Yes. It’s an isekai. Someone fandom literate isekaied into the body of Toji Fushiguro. No, somehow it does not end up like crack. It reads like Trash of the Count’s family, actually, except the transmigrator is merged with Toji to the point there’s not really a split and they’re just them. (With a bit out new outside morals.)

• Actual parental Toji. He is putting his whole ass into it, literally, if you read.

• this is such fucking crack concept, and it reads like it and is hilarious

• and then it punches you in the face with whump and angst.

•Toji is so fucking funny in this. I cannot articulate. It’s like all the funny bits of Gojo, mushed into a ball of confusion and inhuman oddities that are just so ridiculous I cried laughing a couple times for no reason.

• UM. NO ONE DIES??? YES?! (Takes place in Shibuya, sooo.. some die, but not since Toji was resurrected and decided to fix it himself with his fandom knowledge)

• well paced. Like. So well paced.

• The fight scenes are perfectly written to convey the quick actions while not glossing over them, and there’s just sooo many good fight scenes. I am not a jjk person, nor a fight scene person. This fic may have proven me wrong.

• I HAD READ UP TO CHAP 8 ALL THE WAY BACK MONTHS AGO, AND THOUGHT I HAD SUBSCRIBED OR BOOKMARKED AND I DID NOT, SO WHEN TRACKING IT DOWN AGAIN SAW ITS NOW AT 14 LONG CHAPTERS?!? HELLO?!?

• this entire fic changed the way I viewed Toji as a character, especially being on the outskirts of the fandom, and I have since been unable to accept any other version.

His guilt complex and feral nature have captivated me. He’s like a pathetic wet cat with the kids, and then a fucking nightmare psychopath to literally anyone he perceives a threat.

He adopted Choso before even meeting half the kids. He thinks Yuji is a cutie patootie, and that Sukuna is a freak. He almost throws hands in a bathroom with Mei-Mei for her being too close to his kids. He is plotting a way to whisk her poor little brother away from her too.

I love him. No one is doing it simultaneously better and worse than Toji in this fucking fic, and I have never had to come to terms with my love for fatherly characters faster than in this fic. He is so dumb. He sucks ass. He is trying so hard and I want to strangle him and give him a hug at the same time.

Please someone read this, because I’m going fucking insane, I might make fanart or just spiral and read it again I need someone to talk to me about this
