I think we've all been there
You know when you have a call-out and a no-show and there's only like three of you on the floor (you can tell I don't work at a big retailer) and you gotta be cashier and customer service and delivery boy and a bunch of other crap. It is in these trying times when EVERY customer you meet decides it's their personal duty to let you know how much of a miserable failure and horrible human being you are. Ok, duly noted But in this sea of darkness is a ray of sunshine. Because then the customers start asking for a manager. But guess what? Three people in the store means she's with a customer, too. It's a massively guilty pleasure, but after being yelled at for 5 mins straight, it just feels a little good to tell a customer that we don't have enough people to take their complaint about how we don't have enough people
