Mickey had been glued to this stranger all day, unable to leave him, talking about everything life had to offer.
Who was this guy? Why did Mickey’s soul ache for him?
Ian leaned in. “I may never see you again…until it’s too late.” Ian kissed him.
Ian’s eyes turned red. A cloak and scythe manifested from thin air. Sand swirled around him until he disappeared.
Mickey touched his own lips. “I’ve kissed the reaper.”
