Hi everyone! Thanks to @blue-disco-lights for this weeks @galladrabbles prompt: Don't.

It was hard staying at 100 words with this one. Bit of an info dump.

Continuing my Fantasy AU.

The Sellsword and the Mage, Part 92:

“Sacrifice! Ian-lad, I don’t understand why you kept this from me?”

Ian fidgeted in his chair. “I thought that Ned loved me, but he believed my magic proved that I was some famous Elf hero reborn in the wrong body. That I must be sacrificed so his soul could rightly return to the elves.”

“Nonsense! Your unique magical abilities are the result of your mother conceiving you with an Elemental Spirit in human form.”

“The elves didn’t believe it either. They took Ned into custody and showed me the road. Said it was best I keep what happened to myself.”

Ahhh, when @blue-disco-lights is the @galladrabbles prompter, an AU meet ugly is definitely in order.

The paint was still wet.

White graffiti over the stop sign said, “Don’t.”

Ian fumed. He would find this vandal. He wasn’t head of the neighborhood watch for nothing.

He heard footsteps. Got you now, asshole.

Ian broke into a run, chased the guy, pinned him against a fence.

And, oh. Ian had seen this guy, around the block, at the corner store, always staring at him. 

Fuck, he was hot. Still a criminal, though.

The guy fluttered his dark lashes. “Finally caught me, Red.” He inched his paint-stained fingers inside Ian’s shirt. “Want me to stop?”

Ian gulped. “Don’t.”

Mickey stomped inside after another evening dealing with Terry. “Fuck I wish I was adopted.”

“I asked Terry if you were once.”

“The fuck?! When?”

“Before prison.”

“Why would you do that?”

“I was freaking out and he knows prison.”

“That’s fuckin’ true. But how did the adoption thing come up?”

“He was telling me about the, um, “things” that happen there. I asked if it had happened to him and he told me ‘Milkoviches don’t bottom’…”

Ian went quiet.

Mickey went still.

“And then YOU ASKED IF I WAS ADOPTED???? What the hell Ian!”

“I’m sorry I couldn’t resist.”
