Shayne Topp x Reader

Winter Weekend Getaway

It was Saturday, January 19, 2019. Shayne and Y/N were at Big Bear Lake for a couples getaway for the weekend. They arrived around 9:00 in the morning and got unpacked and stayed in a one bedroom cabin. Just for the two. They had bought enough food so they could cook their meals. They had rented ice skates so they could skate on the frozen lake.

They had the perfect weekend all planned out. When they first arrived at the cabin, they unpacked the food, their clothes, everything. soon as it was all put away, Y/N and Shayne had their stuff on ready for the snow. Y/N dragged Shayne outside and she pelted him with a snowball right to the face. The two played in the snow like children for what seemed like forever and then Shayne tackled Y/N onto the freezing, snow-filled ground.

”Yes?” Y/N asked. Shayne just smiled at her and held face with his icy fingers. He leaned in and kissed her. His warm lips connected with her cold lips. Y/N smiled her way through the kiss and kissed him back.

”Let’s go back in lover boy.” Y/N says as she pulls away. Shayne smiles and gets off of Y/N and brushes the snow off and leans his hand down to help Y/N get up off the ground. The two walked back into the cabin, taking off their snowy boots and their hats and gloves and all that stuff.

“I’ll make us some hot cocoa and we can relax by the fire and watch the snowfall.” Shayne said as he makes his way into the kitchen, pulling two mugs out of the cabinet above the sink. Y/N nods and heads back into the bedroom to get some comfy clothes on.

She comes back and sees Shayne waiting by the couch, with two coffee mugs, filled with hot cocoa, a big, warm blanket and a cozy fireplace. Y/N makes her way towards Shayne and lays on the couch. Her backside against Shayne’s body. The blanket covering them both, the crackling of the fire and the light snowfall from the outside beams. The steam coming from the hot cocoa. Shayne kissed Y/N’s head and she leaned her head back so it sits on his shoulder and neck. Nothing could get better than this.

David Moss was a self-proclaimed video game expert. He felt like there was nothing anyone could do to beat him. He was overly cocky. That is, until he gets an email, inviting him to be a beta tester for an upcoming game for Smosh Games, a relatively unknown company. 

He thought it would be fun. He thought he would enjoy himself. Not even the corpse being wheeled out when he was first entering the building was enough to dampen his spirits. He filled out the paperwork, met the company heads, and before he knew it, he was being hooked up to a machine so he could join the game. 

Once in the game, he meets several other gamers, all exhausted, bruised, and scared. He soon learns the truth. The game was a trap. It was murder trap disguised as a game meant to kill off cocky gamers that drove the rest of the community insane. If you get murdered in the game, you die in real life. The only way out is to defeat all one hundred levels as a team, a single death resetting the rest of the team back to level one. 

Now, he's on a mission to get out with the rest of the current survivors. To succeed, he'll have to learn a skill he'd never mastered; teamwork. But David is desperate to survive, and he'll do anything to do so; even if it means changing who he is.

You’d both refuse to be on different teams whenever you were told you’re playing a game with teams involved but they eventually had to separate you because you worked too well together

You guys never fight but when you do its usually over something stupid that only lasts about two minutes because you couldn’t stand being apart for so long 

Fancy dinner dates that end up turning into fluffy cuddling while watching a movie because you both did horrible in the fancy environment

Rare make out sessions at night when it was a boring day at work 

Piggy back rides and weird dancing around the office 

You adore each other so much and will constantly post stuff about each other on every social media you both have

The amount of fan edits people made of you both was unreal and you both would get embarrassed as you watched them but still you’d occasionally kiss each other’s cheeks 

At night you would tell each other stories about your past as your bodies were melded together with warmth surrounding you both, you’d also change places as you ran fingers through the others’ hair 

Your first I love yous took a long time but when you both said it, it was really romantic and their were butterflies in both your stomachs

All in all you loved each other so much and everyone adored how in love you were with each other
