     It was in the middle of the day Elena and Jeremy were off in school, she hoped after all she wasn’t one to be that tough on them she was supposed to be the cool aunt. Sipping off from her wine she heard someone open her front door who could it be? sitting up she walked over eyeing the hallway a sigh escaped her lips.         “Stefan, you scared me.             What are you doing here? shouldn’t you be in school?”

“That was kind of the point.”  Lexi had always said it would be best for Stefan to not remember the good things. But she had never cared if it  wasn’t good for him.

     It’s not often that Elena is at a loss for words. In fact, in most situations, Elena knows exactly which words to say when in order to produce the desired effect. Except, as Stefan walks into the Boarding House where she had been doing her paper on a laptop, there’s a dumbfounded expression upon her face. It’s clear that she had been working on something-- papers scattered across the library table, other chair pulled out as if someone had been sitting there with her-- except the only other person would have been Katherine who wasn’t anywhere to be found at the moment. 

     “There’s--- I’m not sure how..” Oh god, she sounded like Bonnie when the redheaded girl was flustered. “Stefan, I need to show you something.” It wasn’t everyday you found out that your already upturned life just got a whole lot more complicated because your immortal enemy suddenly was discovered your half-sister.

     It had been clear, over the course of the days following the Lockwood Party, that Elena hadn’t been entirely happy with the situation at hand. Now, not only did Katherine turn Caroline but she had forced Tyler to kill a friend who she’d known for years-- well, maybe friend was a strong word but the fact remained Sue had been an innocent girl-- turning himself into a werewolf. And to top it all off Katherine was now staying at the Boarding House and she was almost positive that Katherine was getting a kick out of all of the above. “I swear if we don’t find a way to unlink Katherine and I soon, I’ll stake her myself anyway.” Of course, this was her speaking figuratively but Elena was beyond frustrated, everything boiling over after she found out about what Katherine did to Bonnie-- or tried to do, whatever.
