There isn't a whole lot going on in the market garden at the moment. I try to manually water only the crops that need to be periodically watered like salads or radishes. The rest gets rain as it comes, so it was really nice to get a bit of rain this morning after a few days of hideous 35+ temperatures / Snazim se zalevat jen tu zeleninu, ktera to bezpodminecne potrebuje jako salat nebo redkvicky. This season's central vegetable plot, the one made of two pallets and a pile of compost, doing rather well with this wet summer, despite the Melbourne chill. In no order: corn, wheat, barley, mizuna, silverbeet, carrots, radishes, chives, spring onion, leeks, tomatoes, zucchini, and sugar pumpkins. A few miscellaneous succulents that got rescued from the chooks' own gardening efforts.
