I realised that I haven't described much about the different environments of Endrez, besides giving the map, so I've decided to explain the different places. [caption id="attachment_105" align="alignnone" width="267" caption="Map of Endrez, Orastim"][/caption] The Noffo territories and Cimmi kingdom in Northern Endrez are both mostly in snow-ridden lands. Large, sloping mountain ranges disturb the mostly flat and tree-laiden surface of the northern lands. Some areas are composed of thin ice or rolling snow plains rather than trees, but theses areas are few. Many small towns and a few large cities dot the landscape. The mostly stone dwellings in these establishments provide some warmth and comfort against the freezing cold outside. A portion of northern Cimmi is occupied by the Zinoipo, a faction of peoples that often keep to themselves and rarely cross the river bordering their inhabited lands. Though somewhat isolated from the rest of Endrez, trade via Port Dudmo and Port Pimci exchange resources of all sorts and sizes. The Daab kingdom in Southern Endrez consists mostly of dense forests, with ravening rivers and lakes between. The paths are nearly all tree-canopied, though some farmland in the south provides some beautiful vistas. The forests are less dense to the east, where the land meets the sea. The gigantic Nemies mountains overshadow the land and towns close to it, including Meneif and the capital, Besaeme. The meandering Nenei river to the east makes its way from the Nemies mountains to the Kor river in Malalir territory, separating Daab from the Hondrasoke forest people. See Taneali for more information. The Rouns kingdom of the Zakri is marked by the dead wasteland Zatja in its centre. This also causes a grey darkness to descend upon the land, making it darker than most of the rest of Orastim. Its blue forests and religious fire wells add a touch of colour to this otherwise dim landscape. Three magic towers to the north protect Rouns from the evil of the Senatu Telie. Wooden and vojvad buildings characterise the capital, Zorsoe, and the smaller towns around Rouns. The ruins of the once great city of Paeph demarcate the otherwise barren grey Zatja. Mountains bordering the Senatu Telie and to the south along with a river to the east encapsulate the extent of borders in Rouns. More explanations to come later! [five-star-rating]
