Honestly it might be canon at this point because I haven't watched since early season 4 but I've never really liked the trope where Chat Noir and Marinette have video game/movie night. Like given how paranoid Marinette is (or at least. was) about the whole identity reveal thing because of what happened in Chat Blanc, it just feels very out of character.

...Luka x OC. Specifically my own OC Carlotta. It's got to the point where I've literally had to block the tags for other Luka ships. It's lowkey horrifying how into this pairing I am.

If the universe is a baguette, does this mean we are all crumbs?

This is a very philosophical question. It, like many things, depends on your stance in baguettiverseology is. 

Some choose to believe that  we are flesh living in a world of baguette, therefor we learned how to create world upon discovering (or rediscovering) baking. For example, you could take a chunk of dirt, and discover it’s seasoned baguette.

Some choose to believe that we are all one with the baguette. This would answer the question of “are we actually all crumbs” with a resounding yes. 

I will leave my opinion on the subject a mystery, as I don’t want to lean your beliefs one way or another. Have a wonderful day.

8 for the end-of-year fic writer asks game!

8. Which fic this year was most fun to write?

calendar year or feels-like-a-year? 😛

going by calendar year, probably “don’t bake it lying down”?

I’m also having grand fun with nine lives, snake’s eyes, but at the same time it’s really frustrating, since I want it to be possible to figure out the whole deal before I explain it, but I also want just about everyone to read the explanation and go “oh, that makes so much sense“ and then rush to reread everything to find what they missed. which is way harder when I don’t know what either chronological order or publication order is until I write each bit!

Miracle blooms sure is getting attention, I might start working on it again 👀

Miracle blooms is my flower shop AU (I think I actually posted chapter 1 somewhere? I’ll go digging for it)

Anyway, in this AU, Marinette is a successful designer who’s working on her new collection, but is lacking inspiration. A wilting bouquet which is clearly the cause of all her troubles leads her to “The Cat’s fleowers”, where she meets a certain black cat-themed character, who works there part time.

Adrien is a model like in canon, but started working in the flower shop part-time. He’s fascinated by the world of plants, and learns the flower language in his free time. For fun, at first, then to pass out messages once a certain fancy Lady in red and black becomes a regular customer.

It’s mostly focused on Ladynoir, but there’ll be some Adrienette involved too as Marinette has a bit of a crush on Adrien from their multiple encounters over the years. And there’ll be a whole load of hidden flower messages (which I need to actually study flower meanings for haha).

'O' for the come at me friend meme!

Northern Downpour by Panic At The Disco makes me think of Ladynoir, especially after the New York Special happened. 

The lines, “I miss your skin when you were east / you clicked your heels and wished for me,” really resonates with how much they depend on each other and where I believe they are in their relationship in the series.

“ Hey moon, please forget to fall down Hey moon, don't you go down You are at the top of my lungs Drawn to the ones who never yawn...” Also just gives me so many ideas for stories in which Ladybug and Chat Noir are sitting on the rooftops, fighting sleep if only to stay just a moment longer in each other’s company, completely unaware that at some point they both fell even deeper in love.

Are we a baguette with a filling inside or a plan one?

I am inclined to believe we are inside a plain baguette. One the other hand, there is evidence we could be in a filled baguette. This evidence is in that we are inside the baguette, thus leading us to be the filling.

This entire argument does depend on what you view as filling, of course, and your world view.

codename: Harry Potter and the Fuck This ‘Child Soldiers’ Nonsense:

whatever HP&c are after, they end up interacting with at least one of Marinette and Adrien. (possibly it is legit as simple as Ron smelled bakery. possibly there is more plot to it?)

another akuma. more of the wizarding lot gets in on this. (…so where are the Parisian wizards?) they successfully corner Ladybug afterwards this time, and Chat Noir, seriously pissed off, bodyslams her out of the way of a memory charm. this screws up his head pretty good, because memory is a pretty delicate thing and he was already not in possession of the memories they were trying to remove from Ladybug, but it takes a bit before anyone notices this. (he doesn't necessarily need to be sure of what he's protecting Ladybug from in order to protect Ladybug.)
