“Notes on Me and You” now live for streaming + Q&A October 9!
A video album I wrote the lyrics for is now available to stream from the Hartford Fringe Festival’s website! It’s $10 to get access for 72 hours so you can watch at your leisure, from now until November 9.
It’s a one-man show, set during the late 1980s and early 1990s, from the perspective of a man whose partner is infected with HIV/AIDS during the height of the crisis. It’s about queer history, and it’s about love, and it’s about grief, and it’s about the personal and messy sides of history.
At 8:15 EST today (10/9/2020) the composer, Dawson Atkin, and I are going to be doing a Q&A via Facebook Live. If the timing works for you and you want to hear us talk about how we wrote this, come check it out!
Otherwise, the video will be available to watch until November 9!
