I usually don't post Dreamlight Valley on here, but I am too proud of this build I've spend most of my freetime since Thursday on to let it sit solely in my Switch screenshots. Sadly the quality got killed when I transferred the pictures to my phone, but everything's still visible enough.
This is my Dreamsnap submission of this week. I'm not entirely happy with it but I like it more than probably any of my previous submissions 🥰
More pictures are below the cut.

How to be a art blog some tutorial for a beginner like me? :)
Hello there! I am not an art blog, however I'm happy to give some tips :)
I'd say a big thing is tagging your content on here. The first five tags are the most important as they are what will make your work show up in searches the most. So tag your creation with the character name, fandom, and some fandoms have fandom specific art tags so check those out. If it's original art there are tags on Tumblr for that too, like "artists on tumblr"
Also make sure your content is searchable on your blog. So if someone sees your art on their dash or in Tumblr tag searches and they want to see more of your work, they can easily find it on your blog. Many common tags for this are things like "my art" or [your name's] art" or "mine." Some people put their art tags in their description.
Another tip is to figure out when the most people are on your dash. Often times there are certain times of the day where more people are online and therefore more will see your work. Try to post and reblog your art in those popular time frames (while it's good to boost your work, I wouldn't do it more than three times because people get annoyed). Certain days are also more popular as well, like Fridays through Sundays.
You can also support and try reaching out to other artists! The process of gaining followers and reblogs is slow at first, and can be frustrating, but keep at it! To help with frustration I wouldn't make it your goal to get a ton of reblogs/likes/followers either, because if you don't get those you can become discouraged and dissauded. Make sure you are making stuff you like and that your creating is fulfilling and makes you happy. The rest will come in time.
Good luck! I hope this helped
hi! idk if ur the person on ffn under 'words with dragons' but if u are i just wanted to say thank u so much for the kainora fic wicked all those years ago. it made me so happy when i was in a horrid slump of depression. your writing made me laugh and smile and rekindle my love of cinema and musical theater. i just finished watching wicked for good and thought of your writing and the fic and scoured for like 3 hours to reread the fic.
i hope you have a wonderful rest of 2025!! ♡
yes i am!! and that AU literally got me my (future) wife, spiritypowers/thosefiveadoraburrs and i still write together to this day (and sometimes write wicked auception verse kainora too). i am so so happy that it made you smile and helped ease the burden of a difficult time in your life. i've been thinking a lot about Wicked lately mostly because of the movies (and blogging more about it on my main @thethiefandtheairbender if you'd like to peruse my wicked tag lol) and it's a story that means so much to me for a lot of reasons and I'm very nostalgic for said AU. i'm glad it brought you joy then and can bring renewed joy now <3 I hope you have a wonderful rest of 2025 too!! (also feel free to DM me, i'm always down to chat about kainora)
The mlb movie characterisation was wierdddd too like they felt unrealistic as characters bc they were so overdone
Yeah like - from what I remember of the show, how they portray Adrien and Marinette's first meetings (misunderstanding at school / as superheroes) both of those were better than the movie? Adrien calling Marinette "weird" and still kinda being a jerk to her as Chat even once he's fallen in love with her in a rehash of the Umbrella Scene (which is genuinely good) but worse? Alya is friends with Marinette all of a sudden for... No reason. Nino is there. Even stuff with Sabrina where I'm like... don't have her be nice / kinda breaking away from Chloe in the beginning, let her be a true lackey and then change later. Like - let them have arcs! The dialogue when the characters were having conversations vs "saying the line of wisdom that's going to come back later" also always felt really unnatural, which did not help
It makes me want to write another post appreciating how varied and in depth and well written TDP is when it comes to characterization and establishment/change because Good God it's night and day
I'm always shocked how readily people pull out chatgpt instead of using an actual search engine.
Was playing a game of 'who am I" with a few friends on Sunday and we didn't know enough about axolotls to answer the questions correctly. And one of them immediately said "I'll ask chatgpt." and then did so. Meanwhile I pulled out google and went on wikipedia. At least that page states sources.
Guess who finally managed to clean her bathroom and kitchen again after what feels like years (don't worry, it's not been that long 🙈). Take that, executive dysfunction (if I have it 🤷🏼♀️)!
