hey this might sound kinda weird but it's been bothering me for a while. i'm afab and genderfluid but, like, about half the time i still identify as female? or well that's been changing lately so i'm leaning a little more towards genderqueer but yeah. i'm just wondering whether i could call myself trans, or if i only could on the days when i don't agree with my assigned gender? i don't know this is just real confusing and weird.

Hi there friend! You can totally ID as trans. Trans just means that you dont (or dont always) identify as the gender you were assigned at birth, so if sometimes you dont identity as a girl, you can totally call yourself trans at any time. ~Bunny, Ihatecispeople

Always remember...

No one can define who you are but you.

Being white doesn't make you not nonbinary.

Being AFAB doesn't make you not nonbinary.

Being AMAB, being black, being young, or being poor, being otherkin or being a multiple, or being all of those things at once, does not make you not nonbinary.

There is nothing that is you that can undo the fact that you are nonbinary if you feel you are.

Your presentation doesn't affect this, your closeted status doesn't affect it, your preferred pronouns don't, whether you dye your hair or not doesn't.

You are you, and that is good.
