everybody loves "Kris being nonbinary is specifically playing on the old idea that the player character must be an insert for whoever plays the game and so you can insert your gender on to them, but then we realize they are actually their own person and realize being nonbinary, and not just "gender neutral" is important to that"

but somehow nobody likes "ralsei being transfem is inherently seperating her from the idea that she is just Asriel to spite our expectations and to get rid of us clinging onto the idea that Deltarune is just Undertale" because it implies Ralsei is allowed to be her own person outside of the prophecy. funny how that works
