speaking of lesbians (wish i could start all my text posts with this tbh), i get increasingly annoyed at ‘lesbian’ being defined as ‘lack of attraction to men’ instead of ‘exclusive attraction to women’.

lesbians aren’t a lack of something. exclusive attraction to women is just as whole by itself as any other orientation. defining lesbians in relation to men is completely antithetical to the fact that the lesbian identity does not include men on purpose
