One for All? I was thinking it’s passed off as the energy Izuku uses accumulating in his body. This actually explains Blackwhip because it’s just another form of this energy.

We also learn that technically, Izuku shouldn’t be able to make more than 5 PersoComs at a time, but thanks to OFA, he can.
Which means:
Usagi (built at age 6)
Tomoyo (same as Usagi)
Joy (built at age 8 when Izuku notices Inko's dizzy spells)
Katsumi (built at age 10, 5y before U.A.)
Medusa (built during the year of training for U.A.)
He TRIED to build the sixth PersoCom, Himawari for All Might, but found himself unable to (learning the limit), until AFTER the Entrance Exam, when he tried once more, and was successful.
It was a good thing he managed to create and gift her, because Aizawa might have been a problem that first day, if he hadn't been made aware of what exactly the PersoComs are thanks to her presence the following U.A. Staff meeting. He built a rather unflattering opinion during the Entrance Exam.
Usagi had FUN during the Quirk Assessment btw, the first time she could let loose and use her full strenght.
(Momo makes her a ribbon with U.A's uniform colors and the Course Stripes. She'll make little uniforms for ALL the PersoComs.)
(Katsuki is seething. First the one with the snakes doing a commercial with a Hero, and now this shit repeating itself?!)
"Alright that is the 'oh fuck I'm an idiot' rum, not the 'shit we have an annoying colleuge' whiskey," Hizashi said when they found their husband drinking from one of their bottles. "Nor the 'I'm bored' sake. What's wrong?"
"Midoriya. The kid with the little robots." Shouta said. "I... I thought he was a slacker, letting his little robots do all the work and didn't bother pushing past his limits until he broke his arm."
"Then Yagi appears with Himawari and talks about a sudden Quirk manifestation?" Hizashi sighed. They sat beside their husband. "You need to start therapy again if you're reverting to toxic thought patterns."
"I'm-" Shouta began but cut himself off. After the last therapist tried to convince him being uninterested in women was a trauma response and he should just try a date with Ms. Joke even if he was married, he had stopped going. It always ended the same in his mind, just bullshit after bullshit. Why bother with it?
"And read the files, which you said you would do this year," Hizashi said, their voice disappointed. "It's right there."
Shouta flinched.
Fuck. He almost fucked himself over.

"Midoriya?" Yaoyorozu said as she stepped toward Izuku. He blinked in surprise as she offered him a ribbon. "For Usagi. Since she can't wear a proper UA uniform."
"Yes!" Usagi cheered, jumping in place. Medusa and Tomoyo looked curiously at the ribbon. Yaoyorozu noticed and then focused. Two little uniforms popped out of her arm.
"Thank you!" the Persocoms said eagerly.
"Yeah, thank you, Yaoyorozu." Izuku smiled at the taller girl, who beamed back.
"Of course! I'm happy to help! And it's nice to have someone with a similar Quirk," she admitted as she handed the items over.
"It is," Izuku said. It wasn't an exact match, but it was close enough to be nice. "Do you rely on lipids? Mine's energy. I drink a lot of coffee."
"Oh yes," Yaoyorozu laughed.
Neither noticed the angry glare from a blonde boy who was not happy Deku was making friends. The freak should never have come to UA, or at least the heroics course.
