I'm back- with sketches of my Sun after i saw the ever so lovely @bunniworms comment on my last post! (Don't ask why it took me a whole day to draw Phaos, got busy in between and took a fat nap.. 😅)
Now, i didn't know what to draw or infodump first since I'm also still developing Phaos along with my canon universe as a whole. But I'll just dump general lore for this guy specifically: Phaos is apart of the 7th generation of demigods tasked to oversee and rule over the New World, first heir to the primordial deity - Solaria's - divine throne (or domains) as Lord over light and the sun, i don't draw his true form often because i haven't figured it out too well but from what i can describe he's basically one big fiery butterfly. Personality wise, when it matters socially he's seen as elegant, polite and sociable but underneath it he's manipulative, overly blunt, and ruthless
Absolute menace, his weapon being a morning star felt right, if he's gonna hurt someone he's gonna make it hurt - no swift ends! He's well liked by the mortals below but has a neutral relationship with his fellow demigods, with only one of em that he despises above all else but like I'll probs talk about Oneiroi later hehe. Phaos got a certain distate for certain creatures, those being the creations from another primordial deity: Nexus, and he may... want to eradicate all of them to make sure his New World Utopia is free from all "beasts" he deems as below him but shhh it's fineee, it's fine, definitely
Now for the prompt! I didn't want to just draw so i found smth on Pinterest that worked at the time:
(Credits ofc is on the prompt itself! And disclaimer: i might change these things overtime so they're not concrete, but hopefully these are enough to give slight insight on Phaos as a character!)
1—5: Phaos has no preference for any sort of food cause he's not able to taste anything/it all tastes bland to him, and can go days without eating.. But he's not opposed to drinking highly flammable materials, like gasoline to a fire, probably the only consumable he's able to mildy enjoy 😭
6: Yes, he's fortunately not affected by capsaicin
7: Butterflies and some bird species
8: Something simple he can walk around in as opposed to his armour
9: Sleeps like he's in a coffin, back firmly on the mattress and his hands on his stomach - at least he doesn't need a night light cause he naturally glows in the dark 💀
10: Morning person, no debate on that
11: Light sleeper, gotta stay alert in case of emergencies
12: It's either he's reading, taking out some much needed stress on a training dummy, or working, no in between
14: Phaos smells like... Well nothing in his true form at least, but in his more humanoid one he smells like sunflowers
16: Very good, totally, as long as you don't get on his nerves he won't roast you for dinner
17: Summer, where it's most sunny and when his followers throw a holiday in honour of his ✨radiance✨ (he likes being depended on)
18: His own holiday centered around celebrating prosperity, the blessed light he gives, and generally the summer season after spring
19: Phaos definitely appreciates getting gifts, but rarely does so himself (He's got way too high of a standard and if he is gonna gift someone it'd gotta be perfect.)
20: He's pretty tall by mortal standards but against his fellow demigods he's only second tallest, he's sized just right in his opinion: not too tall not too short - simply, perfect.

And more! Mostly exploring Phaos's older and younger versions along with his other forms (this sun goes by he/she/they) both feminine and masculine for my own personal art studies, but that's really all i think i can say regarding him? I haven't fleshed out his story but he is very fun to draw, hopefully when the time comes I'll be able to draw and explain more..
