You're an NPC in someone else's story
Ok for context, i am making a fictional town where everything is made of craft supplies. and the residents are puppets. But heres the thing. The town itself is alive. Imagine that you are walking alone and you're lost. you don't know where you are. And then you see this town. It almost has this border around it that you can just barely see. it separates this town from the rest of reality, you enter the town, its empty except for you. but you are no longer you. well yes and no. you are a puppet version of yourself. your different. It turns you into a puppet version of "your true self". for example one of my characters lindsey goes into the town crossing the border of the town and now she is an anthro furby as a puppet. The longer you live here the more you want to stay. It makes you forget who you were. Youve always lived here. There is nothing outside of the town. you dont want to leave. please stay with me the town speaks into your head. the town needs you here with it so it can stay real. so please stay. please stay. please. it needs you. you dont want to leave your home, do you?
town name please

Greetings! I'm Indie (he/him), a ranger and foster keeper specializing in ghost and dark type pokemon. I always aspire to learn more about them, as they are often misunderstood among the trainers and when they are, things sometimes turn out dangerous.
My pokemon:
Licorice - male noivern. a foster fail who i took in after his previous owner couldn't manage his needs. excellently battle-trained, though not by me ;P
Sargent - male duosion. my partner, and the source of constant worried amusement as he acts like a distressed victorian child. likes to mess with other pokemon
Cookie - male houndoom. very shy, but also extremaly energetic even for a houndoom. adopted after previous owner couldn't provide enough enrichment.
Caramel - male houndoom. the second clingiest creature you'll ever meet. very food motivated, would do anything for treats. the tip of his left horn is chopped off
Chip - female houndoom. the oldest and calmest of the pack, with a dominant attitude. hard to train and even harder to fool. has a scar on her nose
Buka - male phantump. my one and only, the clingiest creature you'll ever meet (one-upping Caramel, becuse unlike him he's actually allowed in the house). takes comfort in contact with people and is very social. enjoys cuddles
[Hi! I'm Pent and this is my pokemon irl account. my main account is @justpent and my drawing account is @justpentdraws. Writing in square brackets will be my way of posting ooc, though don't expect to see it a lot.]
'Aight, NONREALITY time:
HIT ME WITH THE RAMBLES!
What's the scenery? What's the wildlife? Are there other people? How do you get there? Can you leave? How does travel work?
*curious noises intensify*
OKAY SO
Quite a bit of lore, but not too much to spoil the game idea
Pokemon trainers that shame other trainers for having boring pets (like how dog and cat owners will slander bird, snake, spider etc owners)
*snootily pats Bronzong's bell* Ohhhh I see the council house trainer has come back around with his simple horse.
*in tears as Mudsdale stares off into space* Y-You're so mean to me.
*flies down from above on the back of a Talonflame* Wowwww okay, looks like someone decided to pull their Pokemon off of the sushi menu!
*defensively squishes Alomomola* I will kill you one day.
Pathetic. *both the trainer and their Ceruledge spit on them*
*sighing, shrugging as a Raticate reassuringly pats their calf*
"Yes this experiment is authorized. What do you mean I should've consulted the ethics committee?" - A
"Don't worry, there is no ethics committee. Anymore." - B
"Was Dr. Bright involved with this?" - C
"Of course he was." - A
"Add it to the list." - C
"Already did." - B
We do a little ears 'round these parts
