KickthePj

I was introduced by this beautiful YouTube through a friend of mine who showed me his video, "Colour Bandit". However, they showed me this video in an environment that limited my hearing, so after the school day had ended I made myself comfortable and looked up the name, KickthePj, where I was able to clearly see the video; I instantly continued to watch his previous videos and I was astounded as to how I haven't heard of the this man before. All the colors in all of his videos are so aesthetically neon, so watching his videos always brightens my mood in a bad day. It always seems that each room of his cozy apartment has a different color of light, depending on the video itself. Even if the video seems to be taking place outside, or if it's one of his short films, he always figures out the right tone of the video with such colors. His short films are the most original I've seen in a long time. Films such as "The Forever Train", "Lullaby^3", and "Office Space". How can we describe such amazing videos?! From his dialogue, to his story; one has to wonder if he wasn't born with all the knowledge of the universe or not, or if the music used in the films was composed by someone from another dimension. Where the hell does he find such beautiful music? Pj's music taste is overwhelming; it's basically listening to the Welcome to Nightvale soundtrack backwards! It is the equivalent to watching colors dance. It is a mix of the words vintage and modern. It's creative as his iconic characters that are molded by the music. Wiggles the Clown, the Space Explorer, Alex (?) Montgomery, and many more characters we've been introduced to in Pj's videos give us laughter, happiness, and surprise. He makes us feel like we're going alongside these characters on whatever adventure they're in, as we're experiencing so many things that should be considered from another different dimension. KickthePj has the power to make anything sound weird. From the way he's describing his day, to the stories he tells in his short films, this man has the large imagination of a child. Such power can give someone an existential crisis if they're not careful. He combines themes or icons from, specifically, the 80's with modern times, and he combines them perfectly. KickthePj. What an imaginative person.

TWRP Music

I’ve only recently listened to this band, even though I knew of them many months ago. After listening to NSP’s cover of Take On Me, I was in the 80’s mood. I went to TWRP’s channel on YouTube, fell in love with the album covers, and listened to their latest music video, Food Bar. The video itself was amazing and comedic with the right atmosphere, but TWRP’s music made it even more enjoyable.

As I listened to their albums more often, the more I felt I was jumping back in time to the 1980’s and being more emerged in the music. Not only were there beautiful 80’s elements in their music, but they’ve also added in vocals that remind of Daft Punk, which fit perfectly together.

I first expected TWRP to be as comedic in their music as NSP was with theirs, but oh did they prove me wrong. NSP is known very well for their explicit songs that are usually about sex, while TWRP is more about love and acceptance (obviously in their songs that include vocals).

Another thing I love about this band is who is in it. Each member is their own iconic character that can make for amazing artwork as well as album covers. In the topic of their album covers; they’re so beautifully authentic and minimalistic. The colors in each of their albums are faded and pastel, but blend clearly.

TWRP is a band that I would definitely recommend to anyone that is into Daft Punk and/or the 80’s decade. Their music is something to listen to during a study or for relaxing, and something that is always fun to sing along with.

I just want to talk about one of their songs which is Body Image (which is why I'm only editing this now after I had posted it). What an amazing song. Not only is the beat so nice to dance to, but the lyrics are so inspiring and adorable! They tell you that you're a beautiful person, no matter big or small, short or tall. It's something that I didn't know I needed, but it immediately made my day.

I once got in an art class/course ( not learning anything actually so I call it art club ), the people are so nice and It's easy to interact because that time we have the same interest. There are two girls at my age, and one high schooler 

A thing got my father really mad at me, and he dragged me out of the club. 

Eventually, my score keep raising up and I got in again. But it wasn't like the first time, It felt too cold. Because I was focusing on studies, I didn't have time to check what's new, It was really new to me.

But the high schooler was so nice even thought we don't have the same interest anymore, she kept supporting me and actually it made me a little bit accepted there. 

The teachers ( both male, one is still on college [[ the college is right beside my school ] ) were nice, they taught me how to improve and how to spread my wings. 

But parents want me to get out from this 'art' life, they dragged me out forever.

And then there was this test at school, about personality. So i took the chances, and got art for one of my biggest potentials. It wasn't surprising for me, but for my parents yes.

But it was too late, I've becoming too distant for them

'So why should I bother?'
