when the killers in forsaken aren’t in a round, they’re sleeping.

The spectre leaves their physical form either on the last map they were on, or just whatever map isn’t in use (they interact sometimes but it’s usually fairly brief as they’re all soooo sleepy)

their personal realities are just. their dreams! they are just dreaming. very peacefully.

coolkid dreams about his life beforehand. particularly, he remembered a man who would come by often and speak to his dad about ‘eviction’ and ‘overdue bills’ (whatever that means!!!!!) but since he can’t remember it that well, the man was very dramatically characterized in his dreams as a crazy debt collector who swung by every so often to harass his dad. (not all his dreams were about this guy, obviously, it was pretty infrequent, but it’s relevant to my next point)

one round, the spectre forgot to wake Coolkid up before putting him on the map. so he was still eepying!!! during this taph tried to subspace the guy (right as the spectre noticed and was quickly trying to fix shit) and the mix of both things caused coolkid to die (MOMENTARILY, the spectre brought him back later) and the mafia debt man to appear outta nowhere

the spectre was DEELIGHTED by this little turn of events and made sure mafioso could come back every so often to spice things up

Bonus:

1x dreams consist of constant slaughtering of shedletsky over and over and over again (this is what her killer intro is)

John’s dreams are married life with Jane (sometimes he’s still dreaming while his body appears awake)

Jason dreams of a summer camp

Noli dreams of when he was back in college goofing off with his old roommate

and Azure dreams of life in the cult (although he knows the ending, he can’t control himself in any of his dreams, so he’s just a constant helpless observer)

as cruel as it sounds, that’s just how she is. floating between the “will she, won’t she” limbo ever since she woke up from her resurrection. that’s why she likes surrounding herself with flowers and greenery when her mind wanders too much. the scent of life grounds her. reminds her that destruction isn’t all there is to her existence.

lately, miss lysa’s been drinking a lot of tea. iced tea lemonade to be specific. which is strange because she’s always preferred coffee. but then, i saw a glimpse of where she’s looking. a little ways across from her, miss lysa had the perfect view of mister 𝓈unday chatting with march.

[ Kyle, unfortunately, shares the same name as the villain in a famous dating game that just recently blew up. When he decided to try the hardest route, he meets Stan, who is a holy knight sworn to serve the villainous Kyle without question. Bound by oath, Stan is unable to refuse any of his master’s demands, no matter how cruel or self indulgent. As a result, he’s used for pleasure day in and day out, treated more like property than a person. Kyle the Prince is harsh and dismissive, never offering gratitude and often toeing the line of outright abuse.

It’s because of this that everyone hates Kyle’s character. The only reason anyone tolerates him is because his route unlocks the most explicit CGs of Stan. Particularly the infamous Bad Ending, where Prince Kyle commands Stan to make love to him in front of the player character. Needless to say, Kyle (the real one) can’t stand him.

Eventually, real Kyle has had enough. Sore fingers, tired, and more than a little disturbed, he quits for the night—but leaves the game running.

When he wakes up the next morning, blurry eyed and groggy, he finds himself face to face with Stan. ]
