hello ! this account is dedicated to writing transcripts for episodes of Tetro Danganronpa, posted on the Tetro Danganronpa OFFICIAL youtube channel. I hope you find them a helpful resource

currently ran only by @huesofvioletandpurple. I am not affiliated with von babbitt in any way shape or form, this is simply a project I am doing in my own time

each post will be tagged with the characters that appear in the episode for categorisation purposes. if you are new to Tetro Danganronpa, this may spoil you (such as who lives to participate in a trial, the names of unnamed characters, etc.) so do keep that in mind

for those curious, I queue one tetro day of transcripts per day. sometimes I queue it the day before sometimes I do it the moment I wake up. the time in between each episode typically aligns with the time between the uploads (for example: if two episodes take place 15 minutes apart from each other, they will be queued 15 minutes apart from each other)

I can't stop giggling at this they are literally hitting the exact same pose. oh my god. the way they share little to no resemblance sprite or body language wise anywhere else EXCEPT when they're pissed the fuck off. imagine Kumada leaving trial two completely alone having lost the trust and good faith of everyone in the class. okay now imagine Kumada making a beeline towards Nishiguchi's room and locking herself in. okay now imagine her spending the night sleeping in Nishiguchi's bed. okay now imagine Kumada creating a version of Nishiguchi in her head that approves of her actions and fights back against the disapproval of her classmates. okay now imagine Kumada making a different version of Nishiguchi in her head that hates and hates and hates her and agrees with her classmates. okay now imagine Kumada crying alone in Nishiguchi's room a la "Tsuno In The Storage Closet". okay thank you

when I first watched utena I noted how peculiar it was that people depicted in their coffins were always curled up in a fetal position instead of the typical coffin position of lying on their back with their hands crossed over. it just hit me now that it probably has to do with the egg speech given at the start of the student council sequences. the one inside the coffin shows the chick that died without breaking the shell, or being born. the coffin shows the safety of eternity at the cost of never growing or changing. the coffin is the egg that doesn't crack. the juxtaposition of the egg (new life and potential) and the coffin (death and stasis). the ending of Utena is open-ended, as Anthy has emerged from her coffin and has cracked the shell of the egg/her world, and now she's creating a life of her own. the coffin seems eternal but it can be escaped, that's why they aren't posed as if already dead. oh my god

very amusing to me that Hasegawa can plan and execute a complex near perfect murder that spanned a week featuring the precise and targeted sabotage of six entire people which traumatised the survivors so bad it had lingering affects after the game when before he couldn't even be bothered to like. clean his damn room
