something i've been quite "happy" about in the last few days, even proud i'd say, is the number of landoscarinas, and landorinas, who were actually sad about the idea of lando and magui breaking up, and are rejoicing they're actually not.

in a rpf fandom, where the main ships are yaoi ships, it's genuinely not a given - and it's usually the opposite. this speaks a lot about the work that has been done in f1 fandoms about women and how we don't accept misogyny anymore, and i love seeing that.

petition to make the ship name for lando/oscar/lily/magui polycule papaya rules. i have numerous pros and cons.

PROS:

+ it's funny

+ given enough traction, can overshadow papaya rules discourse

+ above pro is also funny

+ memorable

CONS:

- might get confusing maybe

- that's it
