sometimes i wonder how much victim's trauma affected his life when he escaped and i don't think this is mentioned a lot. like. bro was killed with every single thing you can think of. did he used to be afraid of trucks? dogs? maybe even taking a bath took a lot of effort of him because it reminded him of when he drowned?? was he much more wary than usual (wary in a way that is concerning) around sharp objects, no matter how simple they are (like scissors)? is he claustrophobic? i want to see victim scared of everything.

Disappearance...

Zal had been UN-noticeablly gone for a while, but when he returned... something was off about the village... After doing a bit of research it would appear someone was missing...

Muds were missing, but who? Alf isen’t doing well... This is not good.

He was hearing all of the latest gossip from Isaac and what he missed.

He decided to head back to alf. He somehow felt it was his fault Alf was upset...

He would have to be honest with @ask-alf-oddworld this time. He was off doing some mercenary work away from here again...

people need to be more open minded to rarepairs. its gotten better over the years but i still see people get into fights when others dont ship grapeduo or blue-lemonade

as a multishipper who ships things from grapeduo to firefly (purple/orange) to red-monster (red/enderman/skeleton/spider), i get a wide range of reactions from "yeah i see it" to "wtf"

after doing a big think i have realized that chosen definitely has no idea about socializing...

OK so picture this: you spent the first 5 years of your life isolated from anyone other than a crazy guy who uses you as an adblocker... but then another guy appears and you two run away. You start destroying cities and sites around since you are gods and the consequences of your actions do not affect you because you can just kill the consequences. BUT one day you start thinking "man this is kinda wrong maybe i should stop". but you don't. maybe because you realized that if you stop doing this, your friend will get very mad at you and stop being your friend. and then you'll be all alone because everyone else thinks you're a monster BUT your friend, who is the only person that treats you nicely. but then your friend dies so now you're alone. since your friend was the only person you have ever interacted with your whole life, you probably don't have a good idea of what it's like to interact with OTHER people with completely different personalities than your ex-friend.

chosen definitely goes through the situation of "say friend group A joke in friend group B and now everyone thinks you're a bit weird" very often. chosen probably doesn't know how to discern what is a joke or not because Dark only had a specific type of humor, so they weren't exposed to other types of humor. chosen probably isn't aware that there are some things they do that certain people wouldn't mind, but there are others that would. or maybe, even worse, some things they do that Dark doesn't mind but certainly the average person would consider inappropriate

i think that what i'm trynna say is that i wouldn't be surprised at all if in future episodes we see chosen acting a bit odd and off tune around other characters. like. just picture them being🧍 in the corner while everyone else is having fun

um. dark headcanons? dark headcanons

-dark can stay up all night and be perfectly fine—but after a week of doing so xe might be more irritable than the average day and destroy five towns rather than two

-they have long, untamed hair—very spiky and unbrushed. chosen only convinced them to sit down once so they could brush it—and afterwards dark immediately burst into flames and messed it up. cho tried!

-darks drive for destruction stems from his mission code—projecting kill the chosen one onto everything else instead of cho themself. but sometimes when cho is sleeping dark needs to restrain from almost killing them right there.

-dark DOES care for cho—she just doesn’t understand chosens way of relaxing/freedom. to her, absolute destruction and mass homicide is her bread and butter.

-after the showdown, dark went into a state of limbo—not quite dead but not fully alive.
