[I’m kind of surprised norkers haven’t shown up in 5e yet. Norkers presumably didn’t appear in the Tome of Horrors as they’d already been converted to 3.0 in the Living Greyhawk Journal. They then appeared in the 3.5 era of Dragon Magazine and in 4e’s Monster Manual 3. This version borrows the elemental earth affinity from the 4e version, but reduces the power level back to that from previous editions]
Norker CR 1 CE Humanoid This squat, large headed humanoid has a set of walrus-like tusks, wide ears, and a stony hide.
Norkers are an offshoot of goblinoids infused with elemental earth. They are found in places where the elemental planes bleed into the caverns and caves of the Material Plane. Their hide is thick and stone-like, and a norker can call upon its magical heritage to transform partially into an elemental creature. They find armor uncomfortable and difficult to wear, and rarely make use of it. Few norkers dress in anything but loincloths, or simply go naked.
Norkers live deeper underground than most other goblinoids, but their paths do sometimes cross. They find hobgoblins too regimented and serious minded and goblins too flighty. Their philosophies are most congruent with bugbears, as both norkers and bugbears delight in cruelty for its own sake, and a norker has the patience of stone in laying ambushes. An ambitious bugbear may bully norkers into accepting them as a ruler, or a bugbear clan may view norker members as country cousins.
A norker stands taller than a goblin but shorter than a hobgoblin, averaging between three and four feet tall. They are heavy for their size, due to their stony composition.
Norker Stone Savant A rare few norkers are born more in tune with their elemental bloodlines, granting them power over earth and stone. They frequently take class levels and rise to rulership in norker communities. A norker stone savant is an advanced norker that can use the following spell like abilities once per day each: magic stone, soften earth and stone, and stone call. When a norker stone savant uses its heart of stone ability, it gains the earth glide quality of an earth elemental. A norker stone savant is CR 2.

whenbluescollide OKA Y LET ME LET ME TALK ABOUT NORKER first of all I only started to ship this when an idea came to me like honestly I have no idea where it came from but it honest l y just makes sense to my head so - what if Tucker was a freelancer? But like I was thinking if Tucker was a freelancer he would have met the gang and then everyone else and then f ucking. Imagine imagine these two absolute /dads/ starting out as casual friends and then tucker's like smol as shit so like North just bonds with him over common interests (for example, North and Tucker both have a stupid crush on another freelancer they know they have no chance with but that's another story) and then the more time they spend with each other the more they realise that pining for someone is stupid and they should just look different places for example like right next to them and then Tucker just thinks more on it and when it finally clicks he goes to get North but only to be brought away with Florida to protect the Alpha and now North will probably never know so I just I love norker
Norkers are distant relatives of hobgoblins with elongated fangs and tough armor-like skin. (Russ Nicholson from the AD&D Field Folio, TSR, 1981.)
