Norma Jeane 1945.💋
This portrait was based on an original photo of Marylin but somehow it turned out more similar to Ana De Armas LMAO That movie sucked btw. It was just humiliation and pain in a nice aesthetic.
norma🤍 my love small but not so small rant: i can’t believe i was so excited to see “Blonde” just to realize and be disappointed that it was just male gaze fictionalization of marilyn monroe. it was disgusting and i am not blaming ana de armas cause she was absolutely beautiful and her performance was phenomenal but the movie was terrible and of course it was because it was made by a man who only wanted to focus on her sex life and her s*icide. the whole movie was just boring and misleading and it didn’t share any parts of her life and how she was more than just a sex symbol. i was oblivious and naive going in to watch a movie like this. i should have know that past marilyn movies (made by men) never and i mean NEVER succeeded. shame on the author of the book ‘blonde’ for writing this book and shame on the director as well. i am in love with ana so all i will say is she did a wonderful job and she will possibly win an award(s) for this but for the wrong reasons. p.s. @jbunzie is trying to make a film about marilyn that would show a fair and accurate representation of marilyn based of her audio tapes and her diary. if you are a fan of marilyn and would like to see a marilyn monroe accurate redemption film, take action and sign that petition to get it green-lit by @hulu #marilynmonroe #normajeane https://www.instagram.com/p/CjKOd8CMrl2/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

. ∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎∎ PIC: Marilyn with her favorite singer Ella Fitzgerald in a Jazz club in Hollywood: the Tiffany Club on November 19, 1954 Marilyn was a great friend and supporter of Ella Fitzgerald. When an L.A. nightclub refused to hire Ella because of the colour of her skin, Marilyn Monroe promised the owner that she would sit in the front row every night for the full run of shows if he went ahead and booked her. She kept her word, this brought a huge amount of publicity and changed Fitzgerald's career trajectory for the better. Ella later said, "After that, I never had to play a small jazz club ever again." ≪≫≪≫≪≫≪≫≪≫≪≫≪≫≪≫ . ☛ @4everstyle1 40's | 50's & 60's PORTAL . ≪≫≪≫≪≫≪≫≪≫≪≫≪≫≪≫ #4everstyle #EllaFitzgerald #marilynmonroe #normajeane #oldies #50s #60s #40s #vintage #underground #jazz https://www.instagram.com/p/CjYfwREAC7A/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
