MARK YOUR CALENDERS: On September 17th, celebrated Hong Kong cartoonist Chihoi will be speaking at the New York Comics & Picture-story Symposium, hosted by Jason @jasonli and Orion of Paradise Systems. We recently posted about the new anthology of his work out from nos:books @nosbooks, which is beautiful, haunting, and quietly hilarious. We are thrilled to have this opportunity, while he is in town for NYABF, to discuss his work!

- 以下，引述Kay的自序： 今天聽到她們在談論她，片斷的斷續的無法具型的。她是如此真實，我上周五才跟她約，只是我現在怎麼都想不起她的聲音。A說。我没有聽過她的聲音，一次也没有。B說。我說，她就是我們，那部份是被撕毁被破壞而我們選擇遺忘，那是最美的，像回到最初，與白紙般純潔無瑕；另一部份是現在的你，只是少了靈魂。如同 現在你們的眼神，和我的，也是。 Today I heard them talking of her, very vaguely, in those broken conversations. She was so real, when I met her last Friday. But now I hardly recall her voice. I've never heard of her voice, says A, not even once, says B. I say, she is just us - the part of us that is wrecked and torn and that we choose to forget, the most beautiful, pure as a blank sheet of paper, like in the very beginning.
