I just saw Nosferatu. Here are some of my thoughts:
Book-accurate moustache hello
Orlok’s blood drinking method of choice being titty sucking was very amusing to me
So so glad Thomas and Ellen had a genuinely loving relationship instead of the “ooo restrictive Victorian couple and Dracula/Orlok is sooo sexy and defies the norm ooooo”
I’m also grateful they committed to Orlok being a crusty, predatory baby eater. Very book accurate
Crusty vampire peen was not on my 2024 bingo card but here we are
I kinda wish we got more background on Ellen’s connection to the occult/Orlok. Like where did her psychic power come from?
Was there a reason for the naked girl on the horse? Was she going to be sacrificed? Did she have to be naked? What’s up with that?
I found Orlok rather disgusting in this, but I know there’s gonna be some people out there who wanna fuck that saggy corpse
Conclusion: this was the most faithful Dracula adaptation to date and it’s not even a Dracula adaptation
