first off, i’m so happy to see you get into digital art, and i’m honored you’re coming to me for help ^^
a tip i really love giving out is to just keep practicing and keep experimenting!
also, always look online (even just on youtube) for guides on your specific program. (i use FireAlpaca, and it’s a very beginner friendly digital art program, but you can try other free programs to see which one you’re more comfortable with)
going on my other tip, make your workspace comfortable! it doesn’t matter where you create, as long as you feel you can relax. that’s the best way to go.
for tablets and such, there’s no need to get the best of the best, especially if you have a budget to work on. i use a very small tablet that was with me for almost 7 years, and it’s still working!
basically, do what feels good for you, and practice ~
