"We need to build a few Inazuman characters... Let's do La Signora- haven't fought her in a while!" You mumble excitedly to yourself, clicking on the domain.

Ayato stands just outside of range of the area parameters, you; distracted by your phone on the other side of the screen, having quickly pulled it out during the loading screen, and stays unaware as the brief period allows a respite.
"Well." La Signora grunts out, hand on her hip, spawning in, an icy mist sweeping up around her "how long has it been this time?"
"A year." Ayato calls out from across the room "How has timelessness been?"
"as well as you could guess." she glares
"...Rosalyne?"
Signoras' eye widens as her head snaps to the shorter woman who appears just behind Ayato, the crescent moon like a shining beacon as Ayato steps to the side to allow Columbina to look out onto the battle field.
"You-" Signora falters, nose scrunching "Oh come on, First it was Childe, then Arlecchino- next its going to be that Doctor turning up, how embarrassing..."
"it's good to see you," Columbina says softly, head tilting. "I didn't know youd still-"
"I'm not." Signora says flatly. "Im just a memory. nothing more."
Columbina falls quiet
"but im glad to see you too." she sighs "literally. do i spot little miss angel finally taking off her veil again? It's been some time since I last saw you without it"
"I've made a few friends thanks to the Traveller and their guide," Columbina responds, gesturing to the group behind her, Baizhu and Ineffa now joining them, the loading screen now finished as the three bring out the weapons before turning to her "ah- We're here to-"
"Fight me, yes. I know." Signora flicks her fringe away from her cheek. "You must be the guides' newest unit if you're spending your precious free time talking to me"
"I miss you."
she bows her head.
"Hah..." Signora watches as a golden shimmer takes over Columbina, and she's guided forwards.
Eighth of the Faui Harbinger, La Signora
Her eyes spark with an icy sheen and a touch of regret "Hah- haha, you're trembling.. is it the cold? or just cowardice?"
You blink in surprise as you look down at the screen, the cutscene seemed a little... different today. you shrug it off, maybe its just been a while since you last let it play out

Turns out, doing the work of an entire scanlation team by yourself can be pretty stressful, who knew? Anyway, I wanted to start off with the bad news: unfortunately I won't be translating the rest of Aono-kun.
Now, on to the good news!
In the past, there has been a five to six month gap in between the release of Aono-kun in Japanese and the official English translation.
The last chapter of volume 13 dropped at the end of August so that tells us that the official volume 13 will likely be released somewhere in between the end of January and the end of February.
yay! That's soon!
Next update: With the completion of volume 13, I want to hold Aono-kun so badly I could die is official finished.
That leaves only 5 untranslated chapters, Birthday 4 (part 1), Birthday 4 (part 2), Birthday 5, Birthday 6, and an epilogue. So little left! :0

One thing I don’t see explored in media as much as I wish it was is empathy without forgiveness. Like, “I know you have a tragic backstory and you weren’t in a good head space, but that doesn’t mean what you did is justified. I understand stand where you’re coming from, but I don’t forgive you, not fully”. Or even like “ I forgive you, but what you did was still fucked”. I want the character’s actions to have consequences that don’t end after they say sorry! Even just having the character be forgiven but still have to mend relationships.
