Myself and a few friends attended an anime convention recently, hence the lack of posting, and the recovery period is delaying posting further. On top of that, I've been having a lot of dental work done, so I've been struggling to regain the energy some days.

On a Recent Ask.

We don't usually address certain asks, and we're not posting this one from an Anonymous individual as we delete all asks we find to be hateful in ANY way. This is a note to that Anonymous asker.

You do not get to try and coerce a religion onto us, and tell us to "Find" any kind of deity, when you know nothing about us as Mods. You do not get to demand we adopt a religion for ourselves, that you already have no idea if we're part of or not.

As well as hate asks being deleted, any asks telling us to "Find [Insert ANY deity here]" will be removed as well.

If you can't learn to stop demanding me and Mod Happy live our lives in ways YOU desire us to, you don't deserve our time. This post is a rare elaboration on new deletion rules that won't happen again. We don't owe anyone who tells us how to live any explanation for our ask removals or boundaries.

Due to a recent tag, this is an update reminder that the blog runner uses She/Her pronouns only, and substituting that with They/Them - regardless of how you may feel about blog runner - still classifies as misgendering. Degendering is misgendering.

Blog runner does not wish to disclose status of whether cis, trans, intersex, or viewing herself as neither or multiple, as this point does not change regardless.

Medical, illness, fatigue

Apologies for being so absent in posting and updating the bracket. Myself and Mod Happy have both come down with Covid-like symptoms pretty much simultaneously. Myself for the fifth time - with especially bad results due to also having Long Covid (longlasting symptoms post-recovery), so it's been heavily sapping my energy and hurting my throat and chest.

It's been making the bracket hard to maintain for now, and I'm not sure when we'll both be well enough again to keep maintaining it - but we plan to continue as soon as either of us recover appropriately.

We apologies for the delay in your pairings and this competition during this time.

Please do not wish on any deities for us to recover. If we wish to ask for a particular deity's help we will do so ourselves, and do not appreciate ones being forced onto us without permission.

You may wish we get better without the mention of deities.

Hi, I was wondering if you could not use the main fandom tags for this? This is not meant as hate, it was just a bit of a jumpscare to see this in the main tags when I'm not part of this community. Sorry if this comes across as rude in any way !

Hey, Anon, it doesn't come across as rude but I'm not going to be avoiding using the main tags.

While people may want to see it as fandom or community tags, that's not what tags are. Tags are a filtering system, to let people know what content a post contains.

If somebody doesn't want to see any genshin impact content whatsoever, or any black butler content ever, it lets those people block those tags so they don't have to see posts regarding it, even from my blog.

I'd recommend blocking the comship and/or specific ship tag to avoid further jumpscares! If you're not sure how to do that, it's inside tumblr settings, and scrolling down a bit should lead you to the option to filter. Curating your own experience is a very important skill!

I'm on mobile so I can't upload a comprehensive tag blocking guide, but if anyone has screenshots of the method, I'd appreciate the help for this user!

Genuinely amazed at how many votes and notes the final pairing has already. I knew some of these ships would be popular enough to draw in an audience but I never expected things to go this far in the finals.

I think a comshipbracket 2 is guaranteed thanks to it.
