Boundaries

Yesterday I took a few moments to think about what the pain points are in my life– even just the small “pinches”. As I did I, my mind quickly turned to the role that TV and video games play in using up my precious time at home, and decided to do something about it.

I’m not opposed to these things, but I felt like limiting them and putting a definite boundary would be the right thing to do. For myself that means limiting these to weekends after the weekly deep cleaning. Sometimes we see boundaries as limiting, but really I feel liberated. Now all of the sudden I have an hour or two of my life back each evening– that is incredible.

When we use boundaries correctly, we become limitless.
