My latest little creature! It's an elephant I made for my aunt. I have to run to the craft store today and see if I can get little eyes for him
Reminder to all my fellow asthma sufferers here in the Northern Hemisphere!
As the weather gets colder, the risk of adverse events due to your asthma increases. Cold, dry air irritates the airways and can trigger bronchospasm.
Make sure you have your rescue inhaler with you, you are consistent with any daily control medicines you may have, and that you avoid unnecessary prolonged exposure to cold air.
Stay safe!

It's weird to be psyching yourself up to be stabbed about 40 times. Especially when this is elective and optional.
I'm getting Botox tomorrow in my armpits. I have hyperhidrosis and have yet to achieve control of my sweating in a way that doesn't also cause serious skin irritation. Im allergic to antiperspirants and the level of electric current I had to use for iontophoresis also caused a rash.
It probably seems like a petty, stupid problem to worry or complain about, but excessive sweating is really disruptive of my life.
I get visible sweat stains on my clothes very quickly. I have limited luck with concealing or preventing body odor with non-antiperspirant deodorants, so I also often stink. And since I currently work in retail and will soon be working in a veterinary clinic my body odor is offensive to those around me as well, and I can't just keep my distance.
I feel disgusting, and I hate knowing that other people can smell me. I just want to sweat a normal amount. That's all.
