A Small Rant From A Mercy Main
I think what people don't understand about playing Mercy is that she is absolutely one of the most difficult heroes to play. Not because of her kit, no, but do you know how much pressure is on Mercy to play well??? She is usually the #1 focus for the enemy to kill and they are ALWAYS on Mercys ass so she can't rez. All she has to defend herself is her little pistol which is the only thing in her kit that does damage. Do you honestly think that if a Genji or Tracer is attacking and 1v1ing her she will win that fight?? No because their entire kit is meant to kill. Besides you have to know the right positioning, knowing when to solo rez or save it for a team wipe, when to hide, when to damage boost, when to heal, or even knowing when to pull out your pistol because your D.Va ran away from you and you have a Symmetra chasing you down. One mistake from Mercy can mean the loss of a team fight or even an entire match. Seriously the people who hate on Mercy players because "she's an easy hero" can fuck right off. She requires a ton of skill just to stay alive let alone keeping the rest of her team alive.
