Arcane Season 2 Act II Spoilers be ye warned

Am I the only one that was… disappointed? Maybe I need to give it a chance and wait Act III but man did some of this fall flat for me

I did like seeing Jayce go bananas and I’m SUPER excited to find out what tf is going on with his scruffy self

I think we DID NOT get enough of Caitlyn, Vi, and sort of Jinx? It feels like Jinx and Vi made up really quickly. So many lines were crossed in that relationship and all they did was tussle a little?

AND VI AND CAIT. Act I left me heartbroken, Vi was literally on the ground crying from Caitlyn hurting her. And did that get touched on? No! They just agree to work together to take down Ambessa out of the blue?? Where’s the tension? Their reunion fell flat and the make up was nonexistent or just undeserved

I was so excited to see Caitlyn being a little dictator and watch character development take place, but we really didn’t see anything. She just was questioning Ambessa about her violence, but then 2 episodes later was just suddenly flipped and fighting against her out of the blue.

ALSO I expected her to be furious with Ambessa for wanting to work with Singed. But… nothing? And after all that buildup and tension between her and Jinx from Act I just… nothing? Literally nothing happened between them in episode 6.

Lastly, I understand they waited to bring up Jayce/Heimerdinger/Ekko for Act III, but MAN did I wish we saw them. It felt like this act was suffering without them

I could have done with less of the black rose, less of singed, and a little less of Ambessa. Those all felt like misses to me. I might be proven wrong though once the show is finished. But it feels like SO MUCH is happening, and there’s not enough time to wrap it all up.

I really hope I get proven wrong, but this act seems like a letdown compared to what has been going on beforehand.
