Preparing for Twitter's Collapse

Never thought we'd come to this day, but here we are. I might not have had a horrible opinion of Elon, but I can tell from his impulsiveness and reckless abandon of common sense that he has never heard the word "no" and that even if it was said in his direction, there would be no meaning to it. For it to stick and for him to consider if what he's doing isn't the best or smartest.

But here we are. On a site that was written off as dead. Funny how times change, right?

I'm going to do some freshening up if I'm going to be posting here more frequently and using this as my primary social media platform.

Which creates its own set of problems.

This isn't Twitter. It doesn't behave like Twitter. I have yet to set up my dashboard to bring me precisely what I want in an orderly fashion to look at every day. It's also never really been Twitter. Tumblr originally was for artistic creators and people who were content creators, not your everyday individual who was just looking to have their voice heard or peek in on the lives of others and wean a bit of understanding.

That being said, I'm glad it exists. I'm glad it's still here and not being run into the ground by someone who doesn't understand or doesn't seek to understand what it is and how it works.
