I can’t begin to tell you how many times I wanted to quit today. How many times I almost threw this entire day away. Then I started to think about how none of this is about me. It is about the young person who is trying to figure out how they are going to afford to go to college or stay in college. It is about the woman who is tired of her job and needs to figure out a way to financially live her dreams. It is about the person living paycheck to paycheck who just needs to know how to bring in more money. It is about them and not me. Once that mindset switch happened around noon today I pushed through. I sent 25 emails, made 30 phone calls, recorded videos, and attended a virtual meeting discussing my speaking engagement next week. There is not only a whole city behind me.
