I still have absolutely no clue how this blogging business works! I'm hoping to keep kind of a food diary for myself, share any interesting recipes I find, and browse other blogs for inspiration. I seek yummy and cheap dishes that don't A) Bloat me or B) Go straight to my waistline. Hence my selecting a lower carb diet.
What I really lack is will power, I have all these good intentions and then slip up for the sake of, well nothing really. Like this morning, in a meeting I had 4 little chocolates out of a big Thorntons tray, that cost me 244cals and 32.4g of carbs, all of which was of course sugar. Now while I'm not really counting calories, that's shocking for 4 little choccys. Nor did it help with eating up 1/3 of my daily carb allowance, give or take.
Nothing wrong with good carbs, I know we need them, so I'm just attempting to eat well without all the sugar, breads, pastas etc that I know and love. Commence challenge.... again.
