A Real Friend (poem by me)

A real friend to me is someone who…………………….

A real friend is someone who, loves us for who we are.

They know just what to do, when we feel below par.

They help us to be our best, even when they feel down.

They help defend us from the rest, they get us to smile when we frown.

They'll see us through thick and thin, it's just something that they do.

They'll tell us off if we start to sin, or they'll change our point of view.

A real friend is someone who, will love me for who I am.

Someone who knows just what to do, who we'll help if they're in a jam.

Someone who'll help us to be our best, just as we should do for them too.

Someone who'll help defend us from the rest, but someone we'll happily defend too.

Someone who'll see us through thick and thin, that we'll stick by no matter what life brings.

So a real friend, my friend I don't know what to say, is someone I trust and care for and love.

A real friend is someone who can always make our day, whether they believe in a Goddess or nothing or God above.

I just hope that I'm the friend that you deserve, I hope I make a difference in your life.

As your friend I'm always proud to serve, and hopefully I don't cause you too much strife.
