☣ Have you ever rp'd with someone you knew for a fact was abusive but tried to give them a chance/to make up your own opinion on the roleplayer? Did they change or did you understand what people were talking about?
Okay so story time. Way back when I first started rping, I was part of an rp group. It was just a dumb thing where we all made posts in character, I was a freshman in high school, blah blah blah. So I had a character that was in a ship with another character in the show and I was all for it. But the writer was constantly on my ass andmade it awkward for me because I wasn’t as into the ship as they were. I couldn’t avoid them by blocking them because it was a group that their best friend was also in so it was just awkward (fun fact I actually wound up dating that friend and it was the worst mistake of my life because they were emotionally abusive and it sucked). I wound up changing to a character that had been abandonned by another to completely avoid rping with them

Fucking subposting. I don’t mean like the ones where people say like, “when people send you shit that hurts your feelings” I mean straight out being an asshole. Doesn’t have to be about me, it’s just nasty

He doesn’t remember how he got here, how he got to standing in the middle of a wrecked bathroom, walls half collapsed and still crumbling - and Tina Goldstein standing outside the walls looking at him with a gaze that he’s not sure what it means.
All he remembers is pain, and panic.
He’s not even sure what set him off. It’s like he blacked out, it’s like he wasn’t even in control.
“I…I didn’t…” He doesn’t know why he’s stuttering, why his resolve is crumbling like the walls of the bathroom. He can’t find the right words and it’s beyond frustrating, just like this whole recovery process.
