Classic Sans' nickname in the Muldewverse is now Sal.
Do souls/soul magics affect the valley at all once the monsters show up? Is it any different than how it is in plain undertale? 👁️
Magic was pretty absent before the Underground arrived. There may have been a few individuals with magical talents but otherwise magic was considered unknown, a supernatural curiosity.
Monsters on the surface that had been experiencing their curse for generations were mere husks by the time the Underground showed up. Basically their forms were made more of biological material than magic and had very little control in the ways of it. So you could collect their parts, like bat wings, slime, and bone fragments. Less Magic = More Insanity.
Monsters that were made entirely out of magic from the Underground wouldn't have had much an effect honestly. It'd be kind of rude to just use magic on someone not out of self defense and since Frisk with the help of Asriel freed the Underground the relations between Humans and Monsters has improved immensely. So no fighty fights.
Papyrus being the Underground Ambassador made sure that relations between Humans and Monsters would remain civil.
How the magic would work? It would work like a cross between UT and SDV. Most Humans don't have access to magic but they're pretty agile so they can dodge attacks. Surface Monsters would have developed the same abilities of being able to dodge or attack twice. Monsters from the Underground would still cling to the old courteous ways of fighting turn by turn.
Some Underdew Toriel and Asgore Headcanons:
Toriel
She will eat you alive if you misgender Frisk or use inaccurate pronouns.
Wizard is her second to least favorite person. Asgore being the first until the two become friends as co-parents.
Mayor Lewis hired Toriel as Penny's TA while she studies to be a teacher online. Frisk helps Toriel with various computer and internet applications.
In one timeline Toriel won the mayoral election with the Farmer's help and she was quite good at the job.
The Farmer hasn't been able to replicate Mayor Toriel in another run- it takes so much time away from everything else.
Toriel has a fishing pond outside of her and Frisk's home filled with snails. The Farmer can learn how to make snail pie by reaching max friendship with her.
Gus is smitten with Toriel's eclectic tastes, but also her butterscotch cinnamon pie. The recipe remains a well kept secret.
Toriel is good friends with Sans and Willy.
There is romantic tension between Toriel and Gus, but the two haven't acknowledged it.
She adopts Leo when he moves to the mainland from Ginger Island.
Asgore
He becomes something of a recluse but has a small garden outside of his cottage filled with flowers.
Recognizes the Wizard, but doesn't really believe it's possible for Rasmodius to be who Asgore thinks he is.
Began composing music as a hobby, plays often on a piano installed in the Community Center per his request.
Very gay for Elliot, the two bonded over wine at Gus' Tavern, realized they had chemistry.
If not interfered with Asgore and Elliot will marry in Year 3; Frisk indirectly becomes Elliot's step-child by extension of being Asgore's co-adopted child.
Keeps bees and makes special golden flower honey mead. The Farmer can unlock the ability to make special flower mead by reaching max friendship with Asgore.
Is aware of Flowey's presence in the Valley. Asgore often clears out weeds, rocks, and branches, so Flowey has less obstacles to compete with.
Is aware of the RESETS that happened in the Underground but does not appear to be aware of them on the Surface.
Vanrec is his least favorite Monster; he will note the bad blood between the two of them when Asgore meets Vanrec again.
Still has some feelings for Toriel but the two of them reach a place of understanding and move on from each other.
The Farmer always looks like they're experiencing some level of exhaustion. Perpetually in a state of lethargy and yet they must continue on, more tilling of the dirt, spreading of the seed, watering of the crop, meticulous care of the land, and the collection of their earthen spoils. Talking to this person, that person, falling harder every time for the one they failed to protect the first time- and the last. Rarely do they ever stop moving, there is always more to do, and it's largely for nothing. They continue through it, the resets, the failure, the disappointment and the rejection, because one day they'll find the combination that SAVES them all. No matter what happens- this they must do at all costs or forever live with the guilt of their ineptitude.
Underdew Sans Profile
The Premise and Setting of Underdew
This is a crossover AU of SDV and UT.
Underdew is set in Stardew Valley with UT characters being inserted into the setting via the Valley's sewer system after the completion of an UT Pacifist run. Various combinations are possible but the canonical timeline for Underdew is a [Valley Hero/UT Pacifist] path. This Ask/RP blog will follow the canonical setting of Underdew; anything not of this path will be tagged with it's AU variant. This means the Community Center has been restored and the Joja Company has been run out of Pelican Town. "The Farmer" has been dubbed the Valley's Hero. When the Monsters arrive from the Underground they were met with a nervous but warm reception by the Valley residents. "The Farmer" was the one to break the tie in letting the Monsters live in the Valley and with Papyrus as the Underground's Ambassador they quickly got everyone settled in. Frisk is no longer the holder of the RESET ability. Their DETERMINATION has been overthrown by the first most determined occupant in the Valley. "The Farmer" RESETS are uncommon. This is not including RESET instances that put the day back to the last SAVE point. SAVE points now occur automatically every morning that "The Farmer" wakes up either from going to sleep, or passing out from exhaustion. Timelines that have been RESET now start the morning of the Underground's Arrival. The longest Timeline has lasted only 4 Years. It is Year 2 of the current Timeline.
