if there’s one thing kavinsky likes, it’s vehicles that go FAST. the bike parked outside the gas station is old-fashioned but clearly loved, with gleaming chrome and a soft leather seat. the pistons, the engine and the frame are all EXPOSED, in an almost OBSCENE way. it looks fast. he parks up beside it and hops out to examine it, sunglasses pushed low on his nose. as he leans down to check out the exhaust, a shadow cuts across his line of sight: no doubt the owner of the bike

and if there’s one thing kavinsky likes better than vehicles that go fast, it’s men who aren’t afraid to break the speed limit. “ this yours ? ” kavinsky steps back to eye the bike, and then its owner. “ she’s a pretty lady. hope you’re treatin’ her right. ”

elizabeth didn’t exactly enjoy new places. in FACT, elizabeth was quivering next to victoria’s thigh, body pressed close to victoria like she was AFRAID. victoria knew that elizabeth would be a bit uncomfortable, but she didn’t have much of a choice, seeing as the complex HAD to spray for pests.she felt as though eli would be more comfortable with jim, as she KNEW jim very well, but with matthew already staying over, victoria didn’t want to trouble them any MORE than she had to. so she had convinced ward to let her stay for a few days while they treated the apartment, and she had arrived, elizabeth tucked firmly at her side.
