Kyoto? Nope, this Bamboo Forest is actually in Dali, China at the Butterfly Spring Park. Lesser known to many, Dali is one of the most fascinating cities in China and about 5 hours out of Yunnan. It is rich with culture, ecotourism and heritage and one of the highlights here is the famous 3 Pagoda's of Changshan. Apart from that, there is also the amazing Changshan mountain range and the Bai people of Dali.
