It's that time of year, gentlefolk! It's that time of year when leaves begin to turn, bonfires lit, children running around getting candy, telling spooky stories about how you lived near two former insane asylums and how creepy stuff happened all the time. Like how about that time when lobotomy lab (wait...what?...Yea, I know that last one is oddly specific that may or may not be true).

Anyway, it's time for our annual Fictober event! The other moderators and I are looking forward to all the creativity we're going to have flooding in around our group!

This is not the Official Fictober event. This is one specific for our group. If you're new to the group/ need a refresher on the specifics:

Each week in the month of October, we will release a prompt for you to write with. There will be a month long prompt as well. You may use any of them, all of them, or whatever.

It is not mandatory participation nor are we super strict about turn in dates. We'd prefer you have fun rather than kill yourself over a story/art. Even if this means you're not inspired by a prompt or you really need more time to work on the story/art.

Release dates for the new weekly prompt is going to be on Fridays (and the Round Robin will be suspended during this time frame) starting October 1st and ending on November first at 12:01 AM CST.

We are hoping to have an AO3 collection by the time Fictober 2021 drops.

Here is a teaser for you: the general theme involves ghosts. Get those quills and ink ready! You've got 2 more weeks to wait!
