“Don’t look at me like that.”
I had no idea people seriously trashed Mystique because of that. I mean, especially with how safe Hollywood is. I don't think they would even risk putting that much of an age difference between any characters. @_@ Still, good for you for exposing that.
people will trash movie mystique for anything i'm not even surprised
i just called it out b/c the person making the post probably doesn't even care abt the age difference, they just wanna trash mystique bc she's "getting in the way" of cherik lmfao

"I don't think I've seen you around the school very much."
"Do you think I'm odd?"
"Depends what you mean by odd. You ain't the strangest person I've met."
"His father had a million schemes, but dollars? Not so much."
"Means you can't make that much ripping him off."
Heretic’s Fork: Is there something your muse will never confess to?
SO MUCH. It's not so much that he's a particularly secretive guy it's the fact that he'd rather shove things aside and never talk about them because they hurt too much to think about. He's not the most in touch with his feelings especially when it comes to pain. Probably the best example of this is his childhood memories that he finds particularly painful like waking up from the coma and discovering he was an orphan as well as the physical abuse he was victim to for most of his childhood years after the crash. In Astonishing X-Men it was revealed that these were the memories he'd repressed and he locked/guarded them so well neither Jean nor Xavier was able to find these. Emma had to trick him into showing her these memories and he tries to put on a brave face but a tear falls from his face still. He says one word to her about all this and nothing is an acknowledgment of what she is saying is right even though he knows it is it just hurts too much to admit it.
Essentially I'd say he's an honest guy but the times he won't confess to things are when he's lying to himself even.
