Managed to run/jog (I have no idea what the technical distinction between the two is) a 5k this morning (as in the distance not an event) for what I am fairly certain is the first time in my life. Admittedly, I did have to drop down to walking for about 1/10th of a mile for one uphill portion towards the end, but I also traversed a distance slightly greater than 5k… so I am going to give myself that one. Not an amazing pace or cadence, but still an achievement nonetheless and a 4.1TE is certainly not bad; especially considering where I was 9 months ago.
