"it might be for some people.”
That’s what he hopes. It’s what he wants for his brothers, if they had died during that explosion {which he’s nearly certain they had. he had…so they..} He didn’t want Kadaj nor Yazoo to have been in any pain, no agony or distress. Loz wanted to think that it had been just like drifting off to sleep.
He wasn’t naive, not nearly as much as people believed him to be. He knew death tended to carry at least a little pain, even he could remember just a bit before he-
“It can be…I don’t remember being dead but people are sayin’ I died.I don’t remember it but I woke up here.” Voice shakes with slight HINTS of emotion. “So, it can be like falling asleep.”
Sephiroth wasn’t sure where that sudden urge to argue came from. He pulled it back before he could give in to temptation; maybe it was Loz himself. His attitude, or... recognizing a part of himself.
He almost laughed. “I suppose you do have a point.” He agreed instead, gaze going distant for a moment. “I-- Do remember. Others may not.” He didn’t know; some seemed to, some didn’t. The haze came with communication, learning things in that field of green-blue...
No, best not to dwell on that. Shaking his head, he thought he might even recognize the shake in Loz’s voice for what it was. Shame he had no idea what to do about it. “Not to mention, my own experience was somewhat... different.” Not that that was the most reassuring thing, he supposed, though it was a definitive understatement.
